Disabled Network Adapters (error 28)

Eeek, this should not happen. :weary: When you say messes up, do you mean you need to activate the licence again? Did it become deactivated somehow?

Yes… Sorry about the hoops, our third-party licencing software is very picky about some of these things for no apparent reason. We are as clueless as everyone else unfortunately. :sob:

It may be worth skimming their forums too, to see whether someone has had a similar issue. It’s what we do too. The product to look for is called “TurboActivate”.

hey, yes every time i want to use ragdoll i have to uninstall the wifi device because windows puts it back as soon as i reboot … and as soon as wifi device is back ragdoll cant check the license… but at least i can use it this way

i went to the lime website thing and its pretty confusing to me… also for most things they want me to pay and im not in to that… so i signed up as a free user but… honestly it just gives me the run around… after that i got fedup and had the brain fart of just deleting the wifi device

also i want to say---- why havnt i used this so intensively before!.. i love it! i guess i needed a project thats perfect for it to get started full force but… really nice results

Glad you managed to like it through the noise of licencing hurdles. If you are able to share, we’d love to see it in Showcase

Related. This issue might be because of a broken WMI: Windows WMI Broken - #2 by davidlatwe

Was this ever fixed? im running into the same Ragdoll Licencing Error: 28
issue and ive updated and activated all drivers and tried almost all these steps

Hi @Micaiah_Chau, welcome to the forums!

So far, everyone who has had this issue has managed to resolve it. The only question has been which of the many possible solutions, or combination of solutions, works for you.

Here’s a checklist, from simple to complex.

Try stepping through this list, and I expect you will find the one that works for you.

We agree this is an awful amount of work to have to do to run Ragdoll, and we will be moving away from this licencing software in the future because of this. But until then, these are the hoops we’ll need to jump through.

Thank you so much, the #6 worked perfectly!

Thank you guys!
