Cylinders inside a tube in Blender

Hey Ragdoll team!

I’d like to know if there is an easy way to make a hollow cylinder or hollow shape using Ragdoll for Blender. Similar to the one found here:

Sure you can, the process is the same in Blender as it is in Maya. You need to find a way to separate your cylinder such that vertices form individual islands. Each island would become a collision mesh, just like in that Maya example.

Blender doesn’t have the same Maya tool to cut the mesh, but it does have other methods, such as this one:

You can also separate the cylinder into multiple objects, and then combine the objects again without merging any vertices. That way, you can be sure that each object will form an individual collision mesh.

Thank you so much! I thought the only way to do this was to parent the separate meshes to an armature.
