The cache sim looks great, then click Record and it’s completely different, almost as if there’s no sim at all, the tail I’m sim-ing is completely stiff for the baked animation.
What am I missing? Thanks
P.S. I merged solvers at one point. Is there any known bugs with merging solverse and recording?
Because it does work on a single character out of the dozen, they all use the same .rag file and are now on the same solver, but only the newest .rag I’ve added since merging the previous solvers works at all in recording, the others are different than the original anim and different than the cache, they’re all wrong except this one, despite them all using the same settings.

Have a look at some of these troubleshooting tips and tricks.
They almost all boil down to using Extract Simulation
to narrow down exactly where differences start to arise.
Let me know if neither of these solve the issue, and what else if happening in your specific case!
It appears merging the solvers potentially created the issue and this could be a bug, because:
- the .rag I imported after merging solvers was the only one that behaved as expected, all others were stiff
- I removed all physics and re-applied all the exact same .rag files, but each successive applied to the same solver so did not merge solvers and they all worked.

Thanks for reporting it, would it be possible to provide a series of steps we can perform to reproduce the issue on our end?
- Open Maya
- Make 2 boxes
- Save Scene
- Make new scene
- Reference the saved scene twice
- Merge solvers
- Record Simulation
- Boom!
