I really like that even though you didn’t set any keyframes in that video, we could still follow along what the character was doing. A faint glimpse into what live animation can become, with the most rudimentary of tools; a mouse and keyboard with the Maya manipulator and Channel Box. Very inspiring I think. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been getting to grips with it, now fine-tuning the limits on some existing characters, and throwing out some IK systems. As someone who was immediately enamoured of Ragdoll Dynamics because of the possibilities of live puppetry and an altogether more playful approach to animation, this has far exceeded my expectations!
