Trouble installing for maya2026

Hello. I have trouble installing ragdoll for m2026.
I think the download page or the terminology is misleading. e.g above the download buttons it says: Autodesk Maya 2019 to 2026
Below that buttons it says Ragdoll 2025.10.06 awaits. Misleading because I reference the 2025 here to the maya version. And when you click it to read more about you land here: Beyond Ragdoll - Learn Ragdoll

I downloaded the msi- but the installer didn’t finished. Trying to re-execute results in just a short flash of the installer window. I’ll try again with a fresh reboot tomorrow.(Oh I am on win11)
I downloaded the zip like in the description, unzipped it and loaded the plugin maya.

The greyed 2026-versions( browser won’t open them). Is it that the 2026-versions corresponds to the new ragdoll 4?

True, I also got confused for a moment, but then realised that those are the latest release notes for this version. The later versions have been minor patches that did not receive a dedicated release page.

The later releases relate to Blender and the new Ragdoll 4 early access.

That should flash is all you need. Granted, it isn’t very descriptive on its progress or completion, it simply finishes too fast to notice. There should be no reboot needed, only Maya needs a restart to pick up the new module.

Yes, thank you, we spotted this as well. They do not account for the maya/ prefix of the versions since we started doing Blender releases. We will address that shortly.
