We’re rolling out support for payments via Alipay and WeChat for anyone in China interested in Ragdoll.
For those unfamiliar, western-based card payments are challenging for anyone in China and is an unnecessary barrier-to-entry for use of Ragdoll. WeChat and Alipay on the other hand is how most payments are done.
The first version to support this payment option is Ragdoll Freelancer.
On checkout, you’ll now find options, in addition to card payment, for WeChat and Alipay.
Ideally we’ll roll out support for this to all licence types, let us know how you get along. Based on the success of this, we’ll also incorporate Chinese translation to expand on the usefulness of Ragdoll in this region further.
