Problem with rotation

Hello .I have an issue when I activate dynamics; the arm descends too much compared to its axis of rotation. I would like to know if there is a solution so that the arm doesn’t descend as much. Currently, the only solution I’ve found is to reduce the mesh shape in dynamics. (joint 1 constraint with controler 2)

. Here is a screenshot once dynamics are activated. I have placed meshes on one arm to compare the results.

but i would like this result. i cant change the joint position because its constraint by the controler

Hi @thierryn13, welcome to the forums!

This is a job for “Limits”, which can keep Markers within a given range of motion.

Have a look at this tutorial for an example.

There’s also this advanced video, on anatomical limits, for Blender which is also applicable to Maya.

Thank you for the welcome and for your prompt responses. I’ll try testing with the limits. Thank you.
