Problem installing Ragdoll on macOS Sonoma + Maya 2024

Hi, all!

I’m trying to install Ragdoll on Maya 2024 on macOS Sonoma. I’m following these steps here: https://learn.ragdolldynamics.com/maya/download/

When I try to enable Ragdoll via plug-in manager, clicking on “Loaded” will trigger the following error:

// Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2024/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel line 316: does not match the current architecture (ragdoll)

Restarting everything didn’t help. I really don’t want to re-install Maya right now, only if there’s no other way around this.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hey @Lucas, ragdoll only runs under Rosetta (x86) at the moment, which means Maya also has to run under Rosetta.

Ahhhh, that makes sense. Forcing opening via Rosetta did the trick, thank you @marcus!
