I decided to challenge myself to make a small, short animation test with Ragdoll once a day for a week, spending about 30 min - 2 hr per day. Here is how it went:
As you can see, I could stand to spend some more time on a couple of those, but all in all I’m happy with this little experiment.

For the pool example, the reason they come to a stop a little prematurely is possibly due to Air Resistance. It can help make fleshy body parts feel more fleshy, but in a situation with very little friction and hard contacts like a pool table I expect it’d behave more realistically without any Air Density at all, or at most very little like 0.01 or so.
Thanks for the suggestion Marcus! I didn’t use any reference for any of these, but I thought this was actually fairly close to how pool balls move. I even added a drag field to try and keep them from moving for too long I will give your suggestion a test though.
