Hey! I’m working on my student short film and there are two uses i have for the plugin that I’m trying to master, and would love to have some tips for either setup or ways to approach it as best as possible.
1.breaking of some objects and reaction to animated character
2. maybe adding some ragdoll to the limbs/fingers to add some jitter to the movement as the character is falling for most of the film
you can look at a scene as an example (WIP of course)

Hi @dinozour, welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing!
Ragdoll does do simulation, but mostly for character animation purposes and less for FX work like destruction and breaking objects. Some software can attach objects together and automatically break that connection given enough force to it, but Ragdoll doesn’t do that either, since it’s focus is on body mechanics.
Adding physics onto limbs however is very much what Ragdoll is for. If you provide more context as to how you intend on the final result to look, perhaps we could mock up some examples for you. I’d imagine that with the character entirely dynamic and given a turbulence field you could see some nice wind-like effects as he falls. Possibly without gravity, such that you can work around the origin.
