Fill holes with spherical surfaces

I have an idea for a feature that I would like to see in RD.

Mesh markers with Multi-Cut are great. However, in joints with large bends, the collisions that should be there are lost. This may not be a problem in many cases, but it can be a problem in scenes with a lot of contact.

If we can fill these holes with spherical surfaces, we can get smooth joints like capsule markers.

This is the kind of functionality we are looking for in Autodesk Meshmixer. I wish RD had this kind of functionality.
