Hello!
Im currently trying to create a ragdoll setup for a blueberry bush that i need collisions for. Im having a few issues regarding the stiffness tho, i cant seem to get it high enough - would anyone know a good workaround for this? (my scene scale is based on real life)
Cheers
Try making each child lighter than its parent. Either by adjusting the Density or shape volume, e.g. radius/length. You can monitor the final mass in the Manipulator UI.
trying that out rn, i will let u know
hey there, so i did that and also change the pose rotate stiffness inside the solver - i thought the limit is what i needed to change and now it works
Cool, the result looks stable and the proportions look good, but you should always be cautious with values that seem outrageous. Low values generally result in more stable simulation, less explosions and jitter.
You can also try increasing the substeps on the solver instead, giving the solver more time to keep things tight.
Alright thanks for the info ill keep it in mind
and its awesome how much u guys respond!
