Blender 4.3

Hi all,

We’ve been getting reports of the newly released Blender 4.3 not being compatible with the current release of Ragdoll. We have yet to test this ourselves, so please bear with us and if you have any more information about it - such as what error messages or what you see - please to post it here.

Hi…the one I see is: RuntimeError: Error: module ‘bpy_types’ has no attribute ‘RNAMeta’

This happens as I try to enable to addon.

Same as Above^ RuntimeError: Error: module ‘bpy_types’ has no attribute ‘RNAMeta’

Any update on when this might get fixed? Thanks

Still in progress, sorry for the delay. Holidays and all. :christmas_tree:

Same. Python: Traceback (most recent call last):

RuntimeError: Error: module ‘bpy_types’ has no attribute ‘RNAMeta’

We’ve got a patch ready, it’ll be available for download via the normal place soon. Until then, you can find it here.

It’s an Addon-update only, no need to update Ragdoll Core. Happy new year!

It’s now available on the main website and Blender Market.

Nice - thanks for fixing

So, I tried Ragdoll for Blender 4.3 with a robot-like character parented to an Auto Rig Pro rig, and ragdoll couldn’t assign the feet correctly. They look weird. Also, the root bone just stays in place instead of falling down like the others.

This is with some rotate stiffness on the root.

This is with less stiffness. The effect is more noticeable.

Great success.

Next, head over to the tutorials for more.
